Works by Stanley Lane in Eastham Completed

The traffic lights at the crossroads on New Chester Road, Eastham, are the key route for traffic heading into and coming out of into the Mill Park estate and the estates off Plymyard Avenue and Brookhurst Avenue.

For months drivers have been able to see the bent and tangled safety railings by the Suzuki car dealer’s office and showroom.

After requests from our local councillors the railings have now been replaced.

Phil Gilchrist comments – ‘safety for pedestrians crossing the busy A41 has always been a worry.

The old bent railings were an eyesore. It is pleasing to see that the council has acted on our calls for attention’.
